Aksa Power Generation (APG) was founded as an electrical motor factory by Ali Metin Kazanci in 1968, AKSA manufactured its first generator in 1984 and became an expert in machinery and hardware for electrical energy supply in a short amount of time. In 1994, Aksa community became corporate under the name Kazanci Holding and reorganized, achieving its current structure.

Aksa has been the leader of power gen sets market for a long period of time in Turkey and is among Turkey’s largest 200 industrial companies and exporters. Aksa Power Generation has opened one of the largest genset factories in the world in May 2012 in China. Aksa PG has secured its place among the biggest genset companies in global market with its new 100,000m² factory.

We are looking for a“Production Quality Chief,” who will work in the Quality department of Aksa Power Generation for Aksa Turkey Organization in Cerkezkoy/Tekirdag.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Residing in Tekirdağ-Çorlu - Çerkezköy and surrounding districts and districts of Istanbul -  Avcılar, Beylikdüzü, B. Çekmece, Silivri and Çatalca,
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in Quality Assurance field,
• Graduated from bachelor's degree from Engineering faculties, preferably graduated from Mechanical or Electric- Electronic Engineering,
• Experienced in ISO 9001, ISO 140001, ISO 45001 Management systems, preferably with Internal Auditor certificate in this field, (IATF 16949 knowledge is preferable)
• Good command of ISO27001 Information Security Management System and ISO10002 Customer Satisfaction Management Systems,
• Having technical drawing reading knowledge,
• Solution oriented and knowledgeable in problem solving techniques (8D problem solving , Root Cause Analysis , usage of Fishbone and 5 Why analysis etc.)
• To have the knowledge and using the 5 Core Tools (FMEA ,CP , APQP / PPAP , MSA / SPC )
• Having 6 sigma training is preferred (green belt , black belt)
• Fluent command of English in both written and spoken, 
• Good command in SAP , MS Office,  (QDMS usage is preferable)
• No military obligations for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Sharing opinions, complaints and suggestions about the Job, OHS, Environment and Quality with department officers,
• Taking an active role in the establishment, implementation and integration of ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 140001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System,
• Responsible participation in management systems audits and elimination of deficiencies identified in audits,
• Planning and monitoring internal audits (system, 5S etc.)
• Lead the investigation of root causes and implement corrective actions (8D) to prevent recurrence of quality issues , strong problem-solving skills
• Managing and assessing monthly and weekly Quality reports, and presenting findings to both manufacturing and executive staff
• Monitoring and analysis of quality data and control results and management of the process by determining the actions to be taken,
• Development of short and medium term strategies to achieve operational KPIs (Daily, monthly and annual)
• Manage and resolve supplier quality issues, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders ,Carrying out domestic and international supplier development activities,
• Travelling to customer and supplier sites as necessary
• Leading a diverse team of Engineers, blue collars
• Supporting employees of Quality Assurance team on technical issues and determining and carrying out the necessary training planning’s.
• Supporting Daily manufacturing operations and meetings
• Participating in waste reduction activities
• Leading the execution of 5S activities
