We are looking for a "Procurement Team Leader" with the following characteristics for our leading company operating in the industrial packaging sector.

• Graduated from Business Administration, Economics or related departments of universities

• Experienced in the manufacturing sector; primarily metal, plastic or chemical

• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing and foreign trade,

• Strong human relations, open to change and development, presentable,

• Has management skills,

• Has knowledge of using ERP systems

• Good command of English, preferably German as a second language,

• Residing or able to reside in Gebze, Çayırova and its surroundings,

• No travel restrictions,

• Male candidates are not affiliated with military service,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare and execute weekly, monthly and annual purchasing programs in accordance with the material usage quantities reported by the planning unit

• Adjust purchase quantities according to optimum stock levels and intra-year demands

• Follow up on overseas purchases, complete necessary transactions and documents

• Be in constant communication with the warehouse manager and Quality Control Manager and ensure that the conformity of incoming orders is checked

• Enter material and service purchase invoices into the ERP system and follow up

• Perform supplier performance evaluations, research alternative suppliers

• Prepare and submit periodic purchasing reports
