Skills: 

·         Designing and implementing highly scalable, low latency services. 

·         Experienced with designing RESTFUL API services. 

·         Deep understanding of web standards & technologies. 

·         Experience with MVC, Object Oriented development and PHP. 

·         At least one modern PHP framework experience, such as Laravel (preferred), Zend, Symfony. 

·         Good knowledge of Git. 

·         Knowledge of phpunit, behat. 

·         Experienced with Linux/Unix systems. 

·         Experience with relational databases. 

·         Good command of English, ability to read/write well 

·         Ability to review, analyze and document programming codes. 

Responsibilities

·         Building and maintaining web applications with clean code.

·         Troubleshoot and debug.

·         Develop automated tests.

·         Implementation of security and data protection.

·         Collaborate with Front-end developers.

·         Logging and reporting data to proper parties.

·         Manage and Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.

·         Define and communicate technical and design requirements.

·         Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle.

·         Stay up to date with current best practices.

·         Follow new and emerging technologies.

Bonus: 

·         Knowledge of provisioning tools such as (vagrant, ansible, puppet). 

·         Familiarity with web frontend frameworks (React.js, Vue.js or Angular.js). 

·         Experience with GitFlow. 

·         Experience with common third-party APIs. 

·         Contributions to Open source projects. 

·         Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform). 

·         University degree in engineering.
