QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a prestigious foundation present in education sector for more than a century in Turkey. Being one of the first few established non-governmental organizations, the foundation is committed to delivering an authentic educational approach and with its principles preserved ambitiously over the years, the institution prepares students for the future at both national and international level.

The Role 

  • We are currently seeking a proactive and competent PMO Assistant to join the Project Management Office (PMO) Team. This role is directly reporting to the Chairman of the Executive Board and the General Manager.
  • This is an entry-level to mid-level role ideal for someone looking to develop a career in project management and gain exposure to various opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • The recruited professional will be fostered as a talent and will be provided with opportunities for career advancement within the PMO and beyond.

Required Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a project support or administrative role

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Turkish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude

Job Definition & Key Responsibilities 

As a PMO Assistant, you will be supporting the management by:

  • Assisting with administrative tasks, project documentation, reporting and maintaining project schedules
  •  Contributing to the effective coordination and delivery of tasks and projects, ensuring they align with foundation’s goals, timelines, and budgets
  • Support all stakeholders with scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and organizing yearlong activities
  • Coordinating and collating relevant information for the foundation
  • Taking minutes of the team and board meetings and following up assigned and agreed action points where necessary
  • Facilitating communication among project teams, stakeholders and senior management.
  • Providing administrative support for the PMO team and assist in the preparation of the presentations within and outside the organization
