QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Six Senses Kaplankaya presents a mosaic of architecture, history and art, and is within easy reach many famed archaeological sites. There are 141 guestrooms including six suites (75 in the main building and 66 Ridge Villas), all boasting stunning views to the Aegean Sea. Aegean & Mediterranean-inspired fresh, sustainable cuisine interwoven with Turkish elements and flavors is the overarching theme of three dining venues, introducing ‘Eat with Six Senses’ concept by sourcing local and fresh products. The expansive 10,000 square meter Spa, Fitness and Health & Healing Center offers guests and residents a truly integrative approach to optimal wellness. Six Senses Kaplankaya is an idyllic destination for celebrations. It also has facilities to accommodate team-building programs. With many excellent guest experiences on offer, the resort can customize activities to suit active guests and guests who prefer to simply sit back and relax.

Scope of Work

As F&B Office Coordinator, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

Sustainability, Wellness and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives.


Duties and Responsibilities

As F&B Office Coordinator, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

  • Operate office equipment such as copy machines, phone systems, PDKS Meyer systems,  and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
  • Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.
  • Open, read, route, and distribute incoming mail and other material, and prepare answers to routine letters.
  • Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.
  • Make copies of correspondence and other printed material.
  • Review work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that company format policies are followed, and recommend revisions.
  • Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports.
  • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material.
  • Complete and follow up F&B Department’s administration works. Such as monthly attendance sheets, fingerprint system, working schedules etc.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform and body language.
  • Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the resort is represented.


Qualifications

  • Diploma of university completion from related faculty.
  • One year or more of experience in a secretarial role at a resort or hotel.
  • Excellent written and verbal command on English and Turkish.
  • Additional languages are beneficial.
  • Demonstrate competent computer skills.
  • Great attention to details.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional guest relationship skills.
  • Can identify priorities and effectively execute tasks/projects accordingly and in a timely manner.
  • Highly interactive and service oriented.
  • Excellent counseling and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage, train and motivate a variety of people.
