QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Soho House is a collection of private members' clubs and restaurants spread throughout Europe, the UK and America. Each house and restaurant maintains its own personality and atmosphere but the ethos has remained the same; serving fantastic cocktails and simple but delicious food in a comfortable and relaxed environment. 
 

We are looking for a "Finance Supervisor" with the qualifications below:


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a Finance, minimum 2 years Supervisor level experience and 3+ years of experience in the hospitality sector, preferably within an international firm
  • Advanced excel and analytical skills
  • Proficient in various financial software applications and programs
  • Management experience; leadership skills; interpersonal skills
  • Honesty; integrity; reliability
  • Attention to detail; organizational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of business relationship with all partners
  • Good command English verbal & written

 

Main Duties:

  • Directly reported to Financial Controller
  • Oversee all local company accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
  • Provide financial leadership to the organization 
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations and standards 
  • Manage Billing, Accounts Receivables/Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition     
  • Create weekly, monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts  
  • Overview cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports  
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported   
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all local regulations 
  • Accurately record and post financial transactions in Netsis.
  • Record monthly accruals and provisions.
  • Record shared cost allocations.
  • Address discrepancies identified during bank reconciliations promptly.
  • Correct erroneous entries in Netsis through appropriate accounting actions.
  • Provide accounting and administrative support to the Finance unit.
