Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 8 years of merchandising and product experience in the fashion retail industry.
• Experienced in Women's Apparel – Skirts & Dressess
• Advanced level of written and spoken English.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Result-oriented with a strong commercial mindset (an asset).
• Travel restriction

Job Description

• Preparation of purchasing processes according to the timetable in the buying calendar for a global product range suitable for all markets.
• Development of stock options and planning strategies including stock option plan, range plan, and package plan.
• Understanding customer insights to comprehend the needs of the customer's wardrobe effectively.
• Development and management of the collection plan.
• Reviewing competition, fashion, and lifestyle trends to develop short, medium, and long-term business plans for the collection.
• Price management: Reviewing and revising price points after the Sketch Sign off and Final Sign off meetings, determining the final pricing based on country/channel.
• Management of Fast Track collection and OTB (Open-to-Buy) budget.
• Conducting market and competition analyses: Visiting competitor stores, extracting competitor characteristics, and determining option numbers.
• Management of pre sign-off meetings: Selection of samples and tracking of costs and margins.
• Team management experience in a team-oriented workplace is preferred.
• Trend following and supplier relations: Regularly visiting suppliers and selecting collections from them.
• Supporting product development processes: Ensuring on-time sample development and costing in collaboration with product managers, merchandisers, and buyers, according to buying calendar timelines.
• Supporting buyers: Assisting in meetings with suppliers to gather market intelligence and collect new samples.
• Determining supply strategy and managing category capacity according to the supplier portfolio.
• Ensuring product supply at the expected price, quality, and deadline. Creating a supplier portfolio to place the right product at the right price and time.
• Managing collections from suppliers: Overseeing the development of collections by suppliers and selecting appropriate collections.
