QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are expanding our team to support our growth and are looking for a successful Sales Engineer in Istanbul and Bursa, Turkey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing measurable results in sales of Bulk Handling Process Equipment and Process Safety Products/Services. The candidate should have a strong background in sales and engineering, with a proven track record of success in the field.

Skills and Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical).

·       3+ years of Direct Industrial B2B Sales Experience

·       Knowledge of Bulk Handling, Process Safety and ATEX concepts is a big plus.

·       Oral and written communication skills in English

·       Good interpersonal relations skills and sales ability

·       Ability to work with customers in a positive manner

·       Ability to listen to clients and proactively develop strategies to support their needs

·       Effective negotiation / presentation skills

·       Strong personal resilience, highly motivated and a team player with a strong personal drive

·       Result Oriented, Performance driven

·       Ability and willingness to travel.Travel Required > 70%

 

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for

  • Organising, planning, and managing sales of all products in all industrial segments (except food & pharma).
  • Maximising sales turnover and profitability.
  • Market mapping and identifying (key) customers.
  • Optimising sales and profit consistent with long-term objectives & initiating activities to increase brand awareness of PULSE and its European Partners.
  • Frequent visits to all current and potential customers.
  • Maintaining regular contact with the customers. Establishing a professional customer relationship and ensuring efficient customer support.
  • Monitoring current and potential customers to identify opportunities.
  • Analyzing customer needs and creating solutions to their needs.
  • Creating new sales opportunities with existing customers by increasing cross-selling.
  • Recording and maintaining customer data into the CRM.
  • Providing accurate and timely reporting on activities, issues, and forecasts.
  • Participating in internal and external meetings, exhibitions, and fairs.
