Overview

We are seeking a skilled Poultry Technical Manager to provide routine technical support, engage directly with customers, and contribute to the success of our sales and service initiatives. This role involves interpreting feed formulas, analyzing field data, and offering technical guidance on Trouw Nutrition’s solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify opportunities for innovation, and contribute to achieving commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support:
  • Provide nutritional expertise and guidance to poultry customers, addressing species-specific challenges.
  • Customize technical services and solutions tailored to poultry customers’ needs.
• Customer Engagement:
  • Understand customer goals, priorities, and challenges to deliver value-driven solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and influencers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with commercial, technical, and marketing teams to develop and implement species-specific value propositions.
  • Collaborate on innovative approaches to enhance poultry production efficiency and outcomes.
• Research & Communication:
  • Drive the creation of scientific publications and articles for trade magazines and industry platforms.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives and problem-solving within the team.
• Strategic Contribution:
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities, constraints, and risks to recommend actionable solutions.
  • Support business growth by aligning technical expertise with sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Animal Science or related field specializing in poultry nutrition or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in poultry nutrition, with a strong focus on layer nutrition.
• Advanced analytical skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach.
• Strong communication skills; proficiency in English communication is an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
• Skilled at translating technical capabilities into commercial success.
