Stäubli Sanayi was established in Turkey in 1996, with its headquarters located in Istanbul. Stäubli Sanayi continues operations in Electrical Connectors, Fluid Connectors, Robotics, and Textile divisions in Turkey with branches in Gaziantep and Bursa, employing over 80 people. As part of our growing business scope in Turkey, we are looking for a qualified engineer for the "Area Sales Managerposition in our Robotics Division for the Istanbul region.


The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Control, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 7-10 years of sales and management experience; robotics experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in English; additional language skills (e.g., German, French) are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; well-organized.
  • Solid technical background with a good understanding of robotics, automation solutions, and industrial applications.
  • Proficient in IT tools (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CRM platforms) and familiarity with project management software.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, with strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to provide technical consulting and project planning assistance.
  • High energy, results-driven, and team-oriented.
  • Residing in or willing to relocate to the Asian side of Istanbul.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (more than 70% of the time).


JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Reporting to the Sales Manager of the division, working as a sales-minded engineering specialist who will provide customers with comprehensive consulting and project planning assistance in close cooperation with the integrators/ end-users for Stäubli's robotics product portfolio,
  • Understanding market needs, and USPs to develop business plans/roadmaps in line with divisional strategies and policies in their area,
  • Increase awareness, market share, and presence in Turkey,
  • Find new customers and expand the customer portfolio,
  • Evaluate customer needs and provide in-depth technical support with the technical sales support team,
  • Responsible for providing quality and on-time information on demand forecasts by customer, market, and product and report on market dynamics, competitor activities, field execution,
  • Work in close cooperation with Global/Local Business Heads, Business Development Managers, and Market Leaders to develop strategic plans for the dedicated markets,
  • Define and achieve the KPIs in the responsible area,
  • Participating in various events (trade shows, seminars, in-house events, etc.) and actively presenting company solutions, products, and values,
  • Daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting of activities,
  • Plan to ensure the achievement of divisional and personal targets, aligning with company sales policies and strategies,
  • Weekly reporting of activities to management,
  • Quarterly sales reporting to the Division Director,
  • Preparing budgets and financial forecasts to help managers make strategic decisions,
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase sales and profits.

6 - 15 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Student), Master’s(Graduate)
