Job Description
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for group and leisure segments.
· Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential business opportunities within the group and leisure markets.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders to promote the hotel’s offerings.
· Prepare and present customized proposals and contracts for groups, ensuring that all client requirements are met.
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to maximize revenue and ensure client satisfaction.
· Organize and participate in sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and attract potential clients.
· Work closely with the hotel operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed guest expectations.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and market analysis. Provide regular reports to the Director of Sales/Assistant Director of Sales on performance metrics.
· Mentor and train junior sales staff as needed, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
- Entering information into the hotel system (Opera) in accordance with the standards determined by Address Istanbul and keeping company / contact information up to date.
- To closely monitor corporate company production and corporate companies (short-term and long-term stays) and to keep company & contact database up-to-date in the hotel management system
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management,
· Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on groups and leisure.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
