In our rapidly growing organization, we are looking for a ‘Foreign Trade and Logistics Responsible’ to be assigned to our Tuzla Factory in DESBAŞ Industrial and Trade Free Zone, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

Job Description:

To carry out all logistics operations, import and export processes of the company in accordance with legal regulations and company procedures, to provide the most efficient transportation solutions by optimising logistics costs, to maintain supply chain processes without interruption, to coordinate the material flow between warehouses, to ensure the preparation and updating of logistics contracts, to coordinate with the relevant units by following customs and transportation procedures, to prepare all reports on logistics processes in full and on time.

Required Qualifications:

- To graduate from the relevant departments of universities,

- At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management and foreign trade,

- To have advanced knowledge of English,

- To be experienced in MRP systems,

- To be able to use MS Office programmes effectively,

- To have developed planning, organisation and analytical thinking skills,

- To be able to work disciplined, careful and solution orientated,

- To be successful in human relations, to be prone to teamwork,

- To have a good command of occupational health and safety rules.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- To closely monitor imported and domestic material stocks in order to ensure that the production plan proceeds without interruption,

- To coordinate the transfer of materials between warehouses,

- Communicating MRP results from the planning department to suppliers and managing the process,

- To ensure that the requested products are produced on time and in the desired quantity,

- Analysing and reporting for the improvement of logistics processes.

- To follow all raw material, material and finished product logistics flow,

- To make the necessary transport and customs clearance organisations in import and export processes,

- Managing material procurement processes by working in coordination with overseas suppliers,

- To realise customer shipments and material procurement processes at the lowest cost and in the most efficient manner,

- Monitoring supplier logistics performances and managing improvement processes,

- Participating in inventory counting activities and taking an active role in warehouse management processes.

- To make transport organisation in export processes, to follow the shipment plans,

- To be in contact with suppliers and logistics companies in import processes,

- To organise all documents for export and import transactions and manage customs processes,

- Making cost analyses in export and import operations and developing alternative models to increase efficiency.
