We are seeking a Technical Procurement Manager to join our dynamic international team, driving supplier management, cost optimization, and procurement strategies for our EPC projects in engine-based and solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for gas engines, cogeneration/trigeneration systems, automation equipment, technical services, and energy solutions.
• Optimize supplier performance by managing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and establish long-term strategic relationships.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop continuous improvement programs for quality, service, and pricing.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering and project teams to define technical procurement requirements.
• Lead bid evaluations, cost analysis, price justification, and risk assessment for project suppliers.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and budget constraints.

3. Process Optimization & Digitalization

• Implement and manage digital procurement tools (ERP, SAP, etc.) for enhanced tracking and reporting.
• Develop and standardize ordering procedures, focusing on continuous improvement and performance management.
• Monitor procurement performance via supplier scorecards, spend reports, and risk analysis.

4. Logistics & Warehouse Coordination

• Manage warehouse operations for EPC projects, ensuring smooth inventory and material flow.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize shipment planning, customs clearance, and on-time deliveries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field related technical field,
• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in the energy or marine/naval sectors,
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus,
• Strong knowledge of EPC procurement processes, technical equipment sourcing, and supplier managemen,
• Strong understanding of engine-based systems, power plants, and project-based procurement,
• Experience with procurement of steel fabrications, mechanical components, and electrical components,
• Able to review complex contract documents, evaluate potential areas of risk and develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies,
• Strong understanding of engine-based systems and project-based procurement,
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills,
• Able to research, analyze, and evaluate new service delivery methods and techniques,
• Able to research and evaluate new or existing regulations and apply effective changes to policies and procedures,
• Able to analyze processes, financial data, and business goals to make effective recommendations and implement efficient processes,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in energy, power generation, heavy industrial projects, or ship machinery procurement,
• Familiarity with international procurement standards and logistics regulations,
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis for procurement budgeting,
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and procurement documentation,
